Ergo therapy (Occupational therapy))

aims to maximize a patient’s physical independence. Training exercises during ergo therapy must persist for the long term. Unfortunately the high cost of long-term therapy often results in leaving the therapy process incomplete, and suffer from continued disabilities.

The Sepehr Charity Foundation has organized facilities in the Sepehr Rehabilitation Complex in Bam such that these patients could undergo Ergo therapy services at no cost or half the cost.

In the past six years, over 250 children afflicted with the “motion retardation down syndrom” caused by brain failure have been admitted and received treatment at the SepehrErgo therapy center. Of this number, 100 children have been released after they achieved full independence in physical motions, and about 150 children patients are undergoing muscular enhancement with at least one stage of improvement.
